"I am looking to see where they fit for 2009, where do they fit. In what role, start or relief," Trembley said. "I am already leaning towards one or the other, and I am not going to tell you which one that is."
Olson made a strong pitch for the rotation with a quality start Monday, but Liz needed 102 pitches to go 4 2/3 innings Tuesday. Liz allowed four runs -- three of them earned -- on eight hits and three walks, and fell to 5-5 for the season.
"He was better," Trembley said, "but he didn't pitch good enough to win."

As the season comes to a close, only right-hander Jeremy Guthrie is a sure bet for the 2009 rotation. Trembley has already suggested right-hander Matt Albers, who has missed the second half with a torn labrum, may start in 2009.
INDIANS 6, ORIOLES 1: Indians lefty Jeremy Sowers picked up just his third win of the season in a brilliant four-hit, one-run outing over eight innings. He struck out seven and walked just one. Cleveland got hits from seven starters, including a combined 9-for-20 performance from the No. 5-9 hitters.
