--RHP Jeremy Guthrie (2-6) can't get as many wins as most other starters ?- Daniel Cabrera (5), Brian Burres (4) and Garrett Olson (4) have more than his two wins -? but his ERA (3.64) is better than any of theirs. He has more strikeouts (48) than any of them and the opponents' batting average against him (.296) is the lowest among the group.
--1B Kevin Millar didn't realize Tuesday that he reached a milestone with the first of his two home runs against the Yankees. It was the 150th of his career. He has eight homers this season. --RHP Daniel Cabrera, who is scheduled to start Friday against the Red Sox, leads the Orioles in wins with five but, as he has for most of the past two seasons, still leads in walks with 30, hit batsmen with five and wild pitches with three.
--LF Luke Scott has just three hits in his last 28 at bats (.107) in his last nine games. All three of those hits were home runs, but his batting average has fallen to .247 -- the lowest it has been since it stood at .167 after two games of the season.
--2B Brian Roberts was among the league leaders with 10 stolen bases at the end of April, but he has managed only three more stolen bases in May. He has attempted to steal only five times this month, and his 13 steals are tied for eighth in the AL.
