--SS Cesar Izturis hit his third double of the year in the same contest in which his brother, Angels DH Macier Izturis, accomplished the same feat. The Orioles sibling gave way to reserve Robert Andino in the ninth inning, after going 2-for-3. --LHP Rich Hill was pleased with his first rehab start, calling it a "really good performance." The former Cubs prospect threw three innings, allowing one run with three strikeouts with Class A Frederick. Hill is likely to pitch at Class AAA Norfolk on Wednesday, and manager Dave Trembley needs Hill to throw 90 pitches before he returns to Baltimore.
