--LHP Rich Hill will make his next rehab start Sunday with Class AAA Norfolk. Hill's goal is to reach 95 pitches with efficiency, at which point in time the Orioles would consider activating him. Baltimore manager Dave Trembley said Hill is "getting close."
--RHP Chris Ray will throw bullpen sessions every other day to ensure his mechanics remain sharp, according to The Sun. Ray has a 7.56 ERA in 10 appearances, and he could get save opportunities should he rediscover his command. --RHP Brandon Erbe was placed on Class AA Bowie's seven-day disabled list with "shoulder fatigue," according to MASNsports.com. Erbe, a Baltimore native and third-round pick in the 2005 draft, was 1-3 with a 0.90 ERA in four starts, striking out 19 in 20 innings.
