--RF Nick Markakis doubled twice, tripled once, and drove in four runs to push his season total to 71 RBI.
--2B Brian Roberts went 1-for-5 to follow up a 4-for-4 Sunday. Roberts extended his hitting streak to 13 games, during which he's batting .370 (20-for-54). --DH Aubrey Huff has found a home in the cleanup spot. Huff, who made his 70th start as the No. 4 hitter Monday, hit his 24th home run to extend his hitting streak to 19 games.
--RHP Lance Cormier has had a tough stretch in his last four outings. Cormier has allowed eight earned runs on 14 hits and three walks in his last 3 2/3 innings pitched.
--SS Juan Castro was scratched again after sitting out Sunday's game. Castro was pulled from Saturday's game with a mild groin strain and hoped Sunday he'd be ready for a return Monday. Alex Cintron replaced him.
