--RHP Alfredo Simon exited his second start in the second inning with an apparent injury. Simon will have his right elbow examined in Baltimore, and the club could recall RHP Matt Albers or RHP Radhames Liz from Class AAA Norfolk to take his place on the roster.

--3B Melvin Mora missed his second consecutive game Tuesday with a sore hamstring. A report on MASNsports.com suggested Mora might be headed to the disabled list Wednesday.

--LHP Rich Hill, visiting the team in Arlington, Texas, threw a side session Tuesday. Hill, rehabbing a sore left elbow, next will throw two-inning stints in extended spring training in Florida on Friday and Sunday before the team determines his subsequent destination.

--DH Luke Scott drove in three runs Tuesday night, all of them with two outs. The streaky slugger has a hit in three straight games, with three extra-base hits and four RBIs.

MEDICAL WATCH:

RHP Alfredo Simon (sore right elbow) left the April 14 game. He will be examined in Baltimore.

3B Melvin Mora (left hamstring strain) sat out April 13-14. He might be headed for the disabled list.

LHP Rich Hill (left elbow soreness) went on the 15-day disabled list March 29. He was scheduled to pitch in extended spring training on April 17 and April 19.
