--2B Brian Roberts hit his first home run of the season, pulling one onto the right-field flag court in the fifth inning. It was Roberts' first homer since Aug. 24 last year against the Yankees.

--3B Melvin Mora is eligible to come off the disabled list Monday, but it seems unlikely he'll do so. The veteran, who is out with a hamstring injury, would like to go on a rehab assignment before returning.

--INF/OF Ryan Freel is expected to go on an injury rehab assignment next week. Freel was placed on the 15-day disabled list Tuesday after being hit in the head by a Justin Masterson pick-off throw while diving back into second base Monday.

OF/INF Ryan Freel (head) went on the 15-day disabled list April 21 after being hit in the head by a pickoff throw the previous day.

RHP Alfredo Simon (sore right elbow) went on the 15-day disabled list April 15. He will have season-ending Tommy John surgery in late April.

3B Melvin Mora (left hamstring strain) went on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to April 13.

LHP Rich Hill (left elbow soreness) went on the 15-day disabled list March 29. He was pitching in extended spring training in mid-April, and he will begin a rehab assignment with Class A Frederick on April 24.
