ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) - Baltimore third baseman Melvin Mora was held out of the starting lineup Monday because of a strained hamstring.
Orioles manager Dave Trembley said before the series opener at Texas that Mora felt tightness in his hamstring during an at-bat Sunday in the Orioles' 6-0 victory over Tampa Bay. Mora hit a grand slam in that game.Trembley said Mora could be available as a pinch-hitter.
