FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) - The Baltimore Orioles have cut right-handed pitchers Brad Bergesen and Andy Mitchell.

Bergesen was optioned to Triple-A Norfolk on Saturday, while Mitchell was reassigned to the team's minor league camp in Sarasota, Fla.

The moves left Baltimore with 48 players in its spring training camp.
